The Barbell Boys group is a lifting group made up of people who share a similar passion towards working out. By creating this group it will give people the chance to get into lifting and have people around them that they are comfortable with learning the ins and outs of working out. Having a group behind you offering support will only help you thrive. Working out has always been something that has helped me not only physically but mentally as well. As Health Advocates, we plan on promoting health within the University Village community. We plan on having events throughout the school year to promote health life style choices. Ideas include: coloring/crafting activities to help reduce stress, smoothie tasting to promote eating more fruits and veggies, and reverse trick or treating where we hand out health supplies and candy to our residents.
